A Message from Principal Shimon (8.23.20) 

Good Afternoon Middle School Families,

We are getting closer to the start of school and we are excited to begin the 2020-21 school year.  While it may not resemble previous school years, we are dedicated to making it the best possible experience for everyone involved.  Below are a couple of important items for you to be aware of:

2) School begins Tuesday, September 1 at 7:55 a.m. with doors opening at 7:30 a.m. For middle school students getting dropped off, parents should use the drop off lane and your middle school child can use the cross walk to enter the school.  All grades 6-8 will be entering door #1.

3)  Upon entering school, if your child eats breakfast, they should go to the cafeteria immediately to eat and remain there until 7:45.  If your child will not be eating breakfast, they should go to the Eagle Gym where they will be asked to be within their grade levels and physically distanced.  Please do not drop off your child prior to 7:30 as there will be no supervision.

4)  At 7:45 students should report to their homeroom/TEAM coach for period one where teachers will assist with questions (schedules, procedures for lunch, transitions etc..) for the day.  

5)   A virtual Open House for all students in grades 6-8 be held on August 27th. We will be posting grade specific Google Meets during the hours of 4:30-7:30 pm for you to join and meet/talk with your teachers.  There will also be a welcome message sent to you on Tuesday or Wednesday this coming week.  

6)  The school office will be open for assistance with late student registrations, medication drop-offs, and technology equipment distribution for 100% remote learners on Thursday between 4:30-7:30 pm.

8) All middle school schedule changes must be completed before Tuesday, September 1. Requests after that date will not be granted. Please communicate with your school counselor - Mrs. Delwiche. It is essential that this be done before the start of school as we want to ensure all students get a new copy of their most up to date schedule on September 1st.
