As we plan for our Southern Door Eagles to “return to learn” this fall, the district is working hard to ensure the safety, well-being, and continued academic growth of all our students. Our parent survey reflected that 92% of our families wanted a 100% face-to-face return to school five days a week. There were other families who indicated that they were uncomfortable with this option, so the district is also offering a 100% remote learning option (off-site).
If you have not done so already, please complete this important Enrollment Survey by clicking on this link by Monday, July 27, 2020 so that the district can continue its planning to meet student needs. If you select the remote learning option, or if you have questions that need to be answered before you can decide, an administrator will be in contact with you between July 27th - August 3rd. If you do not have internet access, or would like to have someone input the information for you, please contact your respective school office.
Regular online registration for both on-site and remote learning students opened on Wednesday, July 22nd, and will continue through Monday, August 24th. A separate email message was sent out to families on Tuesday, July 21st which provided more details on that process.
The successful reopening of school is going to take the efforts of everyone – students, staff, families, and community. We know that if we all work together, our partnership will create a reopening that is Eagle Strong and Eagle Proud!
