5-MINUTE PARENT SURVEY ON REOPENING OF SCHOOLS - DUE JUNE 29, 2020

Dear Parents:

Yesterday, the Department of Public Instruction issued guidelines for the reopening of schools this fall.  There are many options to consider as the COVID-situation continues to change.

As we plan to reopen school here at Southern Door, we remain committed to quality education that blends common sense, reasonable health and safety measures, and respects family needs.

We plan to offer an at-home remote learning experience for any families who are not comfortable sending their children on-site this fall, and we are planning on offering as close to a normal school experience as we can, in our school buildings, for those families who want to accept that we will try to make the experience as safe as reasonably possible.

In order to be prepared for the variety of options that are being recommended, we want to get parent feedback regarding your needs for the upcoming school year.

The following questions are designed to help us to continue developing our plan. The survey should only take 5 minutes, and is open until June 29, 2020.

The district plans to share its plans on the reopening of school when registration opens in late July.

Thank you!
